Children's High Holiday Schedule
Beit Tikvah Congregation
September 12 - September 22, 2007

Baltimore's Best Children's High Holy Days Program

The Vaad Ha Yeladim will once again offer the best children's program in town for the High Holy Days. We are counting on having teens helping us this year. Yes, parents, we still need you to volunteer, but we want to offer teens more responsibilities as well. We are putting them in charge of the lunchtime activities, which will hopefully be outside. Debbie Rosenberg will do more than coordinate the teen volunteers; she will also get your teens into the sanctuary. Please give her your support.

Lisa Libowitz will be leading Junior Congregation on the first day of Rosh Hashanah. Rabbi Ruth Smith will be leading a Kol Nidre children's service, as well as Junior Congregation on Yom Kippur morning.

Other activities include a special story performance by Lisa Green-Cudek (with participation from the children), a Larry Smith play (continuing his fine tradition), making holiday cards, playing the Shofar, creating Break-fast centerpieces as gifts to the congregation, singing, dancing, baking, making Sukkot decorations, playing games, listening to stories, and more. We're going to be grouping children by their interests, rather than their ages this year.

Please remember that we require parents to put in two hours of volunteer time for each child participating in the program. If you haven't contacted me yet about volunteering, please get in touch!

Shana Tova,
Robin Kantor, for the Vaad Ha Yeladim

If you would like to volunteer for a slot, please send email to the Webmaster (webmaster@beittikvah.org). Please include your name, the slot(s) for which you want to volunteer, and whether you want to lead the activity or help out with the activity.
