Meet Our Rabbi, Becca Gould
Rabbi Becca Gould has served congregations in Bel Air, MD and Media, PA. She was a synagogue president, vice president for membership, and diversity chair. She has been a Jewish meditation leader since 2005 and has worked on interfaith youth initiatives. She created and led tikkun olam (service learning and justice) programs for synagogues around Philadelphia for HIAS Pennsylvania (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society).
Prior to becoming a rabbi, she started and ran an adult education program. She has trained adult educators, served as an adult educational consultant and written curricula. Rabbi Becca loves teaching Judaism to adults and youth in a way that makes a profound difference in their everyday lives. She has won four awards for social justice work, leadership, program development, and mentoring.
