Sing Out With The
"Kol Tikvah," Intergenerational Choir

Anyone who attends Beit Tikvah services knows that voices joined in singing is one of the great joys of our community. Congregants are invited to join the Kol Tikvah intergenerational choir, which performs, among other places, at High Holy Days services, at the Roland Park Interfaith Thanksgiving Gathering, at Shabbat Shirah services, and many other places..

"Many members have mentioned that they'd love to have and participate in a congregational choir," says Rabbi Elizabeth Bolton. "Kol Tikvah will give folks of all ages a chance to sing together for a very good purpose."

Kol Tikvah, honoring a long-standing goal articulated in the Chazon Committee Report to further integrate the Kesher school with the congregation, will feature simple well-loved selections from our tefilah.

Express Yourself with the Intergenerational Band or Goldensteyn (Beit Tikvah's Klezmer Group)

With all of the musically gifted members of Beit Tikvah, how could we resist forming a musical band? Here at Beit Tikvah, we have two groups (who often join together for lively and greatly entertaining performances at potluck shabbats, and Havdallah evenings). If you're interested in joining one (or both) of the Beit Tikvah bands, contact Robin Kantor or Michael Checknoff.
